Serre Chevalier cross country skiing area runs through all the villages of the valley. From Saint Chaffrey to the bottom of the Lautaret pass. There are 45 km of pistes including 10 km of skate lanes in the valley. You will discover magnificent tracks mostly through the larch woods with mountain scenery that make Serre Chevalier such a charming resort. In the surrounding area - within a 5 mile radius of Serre Chevalier - there are 282 km of cross country pistes, 71 km of tracks and 38 km for pedestrians and snowshoe walkers.
